What is development finance?

It’s a short-term loan used to finance property construction or major refurbishments. It typically covers land purchase and build costs, with funds released in phases.

How much can I borrow?

Loan amounts are usually based on a percentage of the Gross Development Value (GDV) and build costs. We work with lenders who consider up to 70–75% of GDV, subject to criteria.

Do I need experience to get development finance?

Not always. While some lenders prefer experienced developers, we also work with lenders open to first-time applicants—especially when backed by a strong professional team.

How are funds released?

In stages, often following site visits or surveyor sign-off. This staged drawdown aligns with your project milestones and helps control cash flow.
